Archive
It is my great pleasure to announce the acquisition of my photographic archive by the California Museum of Photography at UCR @ucarts. The work of 45 years includes over 100,000 negatives, transparencies, slides, prints, books and papers. My deepest thanks to the late Senior Curator Douglas McCullough (and current Curator Joanna Szupinska) and Collections Manager Alyse Yeargan for their work in making this happen. Thanks also to Senior Museum Preparator Emily Gray and Museum Preparator Victoria Naser-Sarava for physically moving the collection from my garage (and loading the entire collection in the UCR high cube); Kristina Newhouse and Debbie Drooz for consultation; Jeff Spurrier and Antoinette Spurrier for emotional and spiritual support and guidance. The archive aquisition was made possible by a grant from the Deborah Groening-Rother Foundation. Many many thanks, for my work is safe in the Museum’s fire/earthquake proof vault and is available to the public for sale or viewing on request.
